About Reed J. Moran
Reed is a lifelong Santa Rosa resident and graduate of Cardinal Newman High School. He earned his B.A. in Psychology from San Jose State University and received his J.D., cum laude, from Empire College School of Law. During law school, he was recognized for academic excellence and provided legal assistance to members of the Sonoma County community through Empire’s Immigration Law Clinic and the Sonoma County Self-Help Access Center.

Reed takes pride in serving the Sonoma County community through community service and honest legal guidance. He helped local families, including his own, recover from the 2017 Tubbs Fire and 2019 Kincade Fire, personally negotiating over $9 million in additional compensation beyond initial settlement offers for local families and businesses.

Outside of work, Reed enjoys time with his wife, a family law attorney he met in law school, and their two spirited children, a 13-year-old daughter and a one-year-old son. As a family, they love traveling whenever possible, especially to Bodega Bay and Disneyland. Reed also enjoys golfing, kayaking, trivia nights, and occasionally subjecting his children to corny dad jokes.

He is admitted to practice law in California and is an active member of the local community:
